What is a lifestyle ad?
A lifestyle ad shows the product being used in a real setting by the kind of person who buys it. Instead of listing features, it sells the feeling or outcome of owning the product, which makes it a strong fit for fashion, home, travel and wellness brands.
See all lifestyle ads →Why this lifestyle ad works
- 01
Relatable real-world moment
The scene shows the product fitting into a busy life, which sells convenience better than a claim alone.
- 02
Benefit-led headline
The headline speaks to the viewer's situation rather than the product, so it reads like a thought, not an ad.
- 03
Product inset anchors the sale
A small pack shot ties the lifestyle image back to a specific, shoppable product.
- 04
High-contrast colour
Saturated colour and clean white type make the creative stand out in a muted feed.

Who this ad targets
This ad targets busy women aged roughly 20–40 who want nice nails without the dry time, smudges or salon visits. They are commuters, professionals and students who value convenience, try new beauty products on social media, and may have been put off gel by the need for an LED lamp. The upbeat colours also appeal to trend-led shoppers who change their nail look often.
Copywriting analysis
The headline "Busy Looks Good on You" is short, punchy and built around a single idea, which suits the fast pace of Stories. Supporting copy is reduced to the essentials: zero dry time, no LED lamp and up to 14 days of wear. Each claim removes a common objection to at-home nails, such as time, mess or durability. The tone is confident and friendly rather than technical, matching Dashing Diva's 'new way to do nails' positioning. The CTA "Discover Gloss" is low-pressure, which fits a product introduction where viewers still need to learn more. Copy stays short enough to read in two to three seconds.
Visual design
The layout uses a 9:16 canvas with the same yellow-taxi scene: a hand with Busy Bee nails on the cab window, product pack inset left, white CTA button below. Bold, heavy sans-serif type creates a strong hierarchy and stays legible on small screens. The yellow-led palette is soft but distinctive, and the nail colour is the visual focal point. A rounded CTA button repeats the brand's clean, modern style. Negative space keeps the composition uncluttered.
How to adapt this template for your brand
- Pick a real moment where your product solves a problem (commute, office, travel).
- Write a headline about the customer's situation, not the product.
- Add one supporting line with your two strongest proof points.
- Inset a small pack shot so the image stays shoppable.
- Produce 2–3 headline variants on the same visual to test messaging cheaply.
Tips for nail care ads on Meta
This 9:16 layout suits Instagram and Facebook Stories and Reels. Keep the headline in the upper third, clear of the profile bar, and the CTA above the bottom UI. Because the visual is shared across several headline variants, run them as a dynamic creative test and let Meta find the winning hook. Add subtle motion such as a slow zoom to lift thumb-stop rate.
