What is a lifestyle ad?
A lifestyle ad shows the product being used in a real setting by the kind of person who buys it. Instead of listing features, it sells the feeling or outcome of owning the product, which makes it a strong fit for fashion, home, travel and wellness brands.

- 01
Quantified benefit
"5x cooling power" is concrete and memorable, and the footnote adds credibility by defining the comparison.

"The Coolest Bed in the World" reinforces the cooling message at the brand level, not just the product level.
Full creative breakdown
Who this ad targets
This ad targets hot sleepers and people who wake up sweaty or uncomfortable at night, including those in warm climates, couples sharing body heat and anyone frustrated with heat-trapping memory foam. The aspirational styling and Luxe Hybrid naming point to shoppers willing to pay more for premium comfort. The relaxed female model also suggests a focus on adults, often women aged 30 to 55, who research comfort features before buying a mattress online.
Copywriting analysis
The headline structure separates feel from function. "Plush Quilted Cover" sells softness and luxury, while "with 5x cooling power" answers the classic objection that plush beds sleep hot. Highlighting the number in lime green turns it into the hook. The brand tagline, "The Coolest Bed in the World," frames the entire range around temperature and doubles as a playful pun. The footnote is a smart compliance move, clarifying that the comparison is against the brand's own earlier cover rather than competitors, which builds trust. "SHOP NOW" is generic but appropriate given the clarity of the rest of the message.
Visual design
A desaturated grey and charcoal palette creates a calm, premium night-time mood, letting the white headline and lime accents pop. The lime green repeats in the logo, key phrase, button and mattress label, guiding the eye from top to bottom. The model sits in the center of the frame, adding warmth through her mauve top and expression. The thick quilted mattress fills the lower third, showcasing texture. Text is stacked in the upper third, where the background is darkest and most legible.
How to adapt this template for your brand
- Identify one product benefit you can express as a number or multiplier and make it the hook.
- Highlight that number in your brand accent color and repeat the color on the CTA button.
- Show a real person relaxed and enjoying the product to make the benefit feel personal.
- Use a muted background so the headline and accent color stay highly legible.
- Add a short footnote defining any comparative claim to keep it credible and compliant.
Tips for mattresses ads on Meta
The 1:1 format fits Facebook and Instagram feeds, Marketplace and the right column, and works as a carousel card. Keep text in the top third so it survives the 4:5 crop if you repurpose it. The footnote is small, so check legibility on mobile and enlarge it if needed. For Stories, extend the background vertically and move the CTA above the bottom safe zone rather than stretching the square.
About this creative
This 1200×1200 square feed ad from GhostBed blends lifestyle imagery with a single, measurable benefit. The setting is a dark, softly lit grey bedroom with paneled walls and an upholstered headboard. At the top, the green GhostBed logo with its ghost icon sits above the tagline "The Coolest Bed in the World™." A large white headline reads "Plush Quilted Cover," followed by "with 5x cooling power," where the key phrase is highlighted in bright lime green. A rounded lime "SHOP NOW" button sits just below. In the center, a smiling woman in a mauve top lies on her stomach, chin in hand, on a thick quilted grey mattress, looking relaxed and comfortable. The mattress side shows GhostBed branding and a mint-green label reading "LUXE HYBRID PROCORE ELITE" with snowflake icons. A small footnote at the bottom clarifies that 5x cooling is compared against the original Ghost Ice cover.
